Skagit Valley Pony Club

Educating the area since 1968

Skagit Valley Pony Club was established in 1968 and is a local club chapter of the United States Pony Club.  Our club has been an active member of the community relying on education, safety, sportsmanship, stewardship and FUN! as the basis to our program.   Members learn riding and the care of horses through mounted sports. The skills, habits and values instilled through horsemanship will apply to every part of a member’s life.

Membership in pony club gives you access to the national organization so members have access to

the Pony Club online community, sponsor discounts, educational standards and achievements, a Pony Club Pin, and the chance to participate in activities such as lessons and certifications, rallies and competitions, Championships and Pony Club Festival. A host of additional programs such as international exchanges, USEF Pony Finals, Dressage for Kids, National Youth Board, National Youth Congress, scholarships, and the Visiting Instructors Program are available to members who develop and progress through Pony Club. Many of our graduates feel that Pony Club helped shape their character and the choices they have made as adults.

Skagit Valley Pony Club meets twice a month at Meadowgate Farm for mounted lessons - the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.  At our first meeting we also have an un-mounted meeting that has a specific focus.   You are welcome to come watch and learn about our program.
